The reception was held at Lambeth Palace, home of the Archbishop of Canterbury. During the evening, the Archbishop kindly shared his personal story of how meningitis affected his life, which was followed by a speech from Trust supporter, Angela Cloke and the Trust’s Chief Executive, Sue Davie.
At the event, several other high profile Trust supporters attended; including Liverpool and Wales footballer, Ian Rush, TV weather presenter, Sian Lloyd and BBC News presenter, Louise Minchin.
